Your account

You must be the parent or legal guardian of each minor you register. Create your own email-and-password account and keep your login private.

Permission to contact your children

By choosing the parent permission option when you register and authorizing contact for each child, you give Santa’s Wish List permission to communicate with the minors you register through this site and to use the child’s first name, email address and/or phone number you provide to request and respond to their wish lists by email and/or text. Confirm that the contact information belongs to that child and that you have authority to provide it.

Email is sent through our email service using PHPMailer. Text messages are sent through Twilio. The selected delivery service receives the destination and message needed for delivery. Message and data rates may apply. No advertising consent is required.

Price and checkout

One list costs $5.99; each additional list costs $0.99. The yearly subscription offers unlimited lists at the existing yearly rate, billed once for 12 months. Account creation is free. Review the children and total before paying. Card details are handled by secure checkout, not stored on this site. Payment confirmation alone does not verify parental permission.

Before a child is contacted

We record your permission and verify the parent account before enabling contact with a minor. The letter is sent only after checkout is confirmed. Your six-digit text confirmation records your parent permission. After payment, the child receives a private Santa invitation and three more contacts before Christmas. A two-digit favorite number works with that private link to reopen the child’s saved list.

Your control

You can remove an unpaid child from the cart. To stop further contact for a paid child, use the Stop contact button on your children page. Stopping contact cancels messages that have not yet been sent; a message already accepted by an email or text service cannot be recalled.

We save parent name, email, phone, and each child's name, birthday, and contact details. We no longer ask optional identity or personalized greeting questions. Information previously provided in profiles may remain stored, but is no longer shown or used. We use these details for account access, parent permission, checkout and the requested Santa contact. Passwords are stored as hashes. Private contact details are available only to the signed-in parent and the services needed to deliver an authorized message.
